Savoring the Sunday roast pork dinner here was like a culinary hug—one of the best pub meals I've savored! The breakfast was a delight too, with a vegetarian option that hit the spot. Plus, the spacious room came with kitchen utensils, perfect for our family vibe.
The hot water was steaming, but a shower gel would’ve been a nice touch—thank goodness for the ample shampoo! It didn't overshadow the overall fab stay, though.

Convenient access to beautiful walking trails nearby.
The room was tired-looking and poorly secured. The gate was a real hassle to operate, making me feel uneasy, and I also found tatty pots outside. To top it off, cleanliness was severely lacking, with the room not attended to during my entire five-night stay.

An incredible location surrounded by stunning scenery with easy access to walks with my dog. The room was lovely, equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a cozy outdoor space for evenings. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious, setting the perfect tone for the day. while the accommodation was comfortable, it could use minor updates. The atmosphere was lively, but some evening noise was noticeable, which might disrupt light sleepers.

The food was top-notch, and I especially loved the tasty Christmas pie that just melted in my mouth. I could unwind while enjoying live music and lounging in the garden area each evening. If I had to nitpick, I would’ve liked a map for local walks, but it didn’t take away from my fantastic stay!

Top-notch dog-friendly pub experience
We had a fantastic time staying at this pub, which is perfect for dog lovers. The spacious double room had convenient kitchen utensils and a lovely outdoor patio, ideal for relaxing after walks in the beautiful New Forest. We enjoyed a hearty Sunday roast dinner that was one of the best we've ever had—truly satisfying after our day out. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with friendly locals enjoying the live music. The only downside was the absence of steak on the menu, but everything else was wonderful.
